Scooter Land US Warranty Notice covering exclusions, owner and dealer responsibilities, and warranty transfers.

This warranty is effective for 6 months from the date of purchase by the original owner.  Scooter Land US, here known as dealer, warrants all parts of the Scooter except those listed under the caption; "What is not covered".

This warranty covers any repairs needed to correct defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance. Incidental and consequential damages are waived.

Scooter Owner Responsibilities:

Scooter owner must properly use, maintain and care for the scooter as outlined in the owner’s manual. Owner must service and maintain the vehicle according to the Service Schedule and Record Sheet in order to keep this warranty active. Scooter Land US may ask for such Service Schedule and Record Sheet when processing a warranty claim. Warranty repairs must be performed only by the dealer’s authorized mechanic. *Periodic services and inspections can be performed by authorized dealers or any reputable motorcycle repair shop approved in advance by Scooter Land US.

*Periodic service and inspections are considered regular maintenance and are not reimbursable.

Dealer's Responsibilities:

1. Warranty repairs will be made at no charge for parts and labor (6 Months), as stated above or 6000 miles (whichever comes first). Restrictions may apply.
2. Any replacement parts will be replaced with new parts.
3. Warranty terms and rights may vary from state to state.
4. Any implied warranty of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose shall be limited to the duration of this written warranty.
5. This warranty gives you specific legal rights.

Warranty Transfer:

Warranties are not transferable.

Warranty Exclusions:

What is not covered?
1. Failure to fulfill the periodic maintenance requirements as set forth in the owner’s manual will void this warranty.
2. Periodic Maintenance and normal wear and tear are not covered.
3. Any damage resulting from negligence of the periodic maintenance is not covered;
4. Any damage that result from repairs, adjustments or maintenance operations by any methods other than those specified by Scooter Land US is not covered.
5. Any damage results from hard driving due to a race, rally, or operation in a location not suited for riding a scooter, such as off road surfaces, is not covered.
6. Any damage which results from use beyond the limitations specified in the Owner’s Manual such as overloading the vehicle, or damage from use under abnormal conditions is not covered.
7. Any damage caused when the product is used as a rental vehicle or commercial use is not covered.
8. Any damage that results from the use of non-genuine parts, accessories, fuel, lubricants and fluids not specified by Scooter Land US or the manufacturer of the scooter is not covered.
9. Any damage which results from modifications made to the product is not covered;
10. Any damage that result from the passage of time (natural fading of painted surfaces, plated surfaces, sheet peeling and other deterioration) is not covered.
11. Any damage due to improper storage or transportation is not covered.
12. Any damage that result from repairs, services and/or inspections performed by any person or company other than Scooter Land US mechanic is not covered.
13. Any damage that results from unavoidable natural disasters, fire, collision, theft, and secondary damages based on any of these occurrences is not covered.
14. Incidental or additional expenses incurred for making any claims such as those for towing, communications, hotels and meals, as well as any losses during maintenance period, such as loss of time, loss of business and rental car expenses are not covered.
15. Scheduled periodic services and inspection fees are not covered.
